Re: High Standard rimfires, Citation or Trophy?

I forgot that detail about the sear adjustment screw. (My Citation has the sear adjustment screw !)

Re: High Standard rimfires, Citation or Trophy?

I have owned both models - previously a Trophy and currently a Citation. The only difference is cosmetic - the Citations will have either a chrome plated or case-hardened trigger and magazine release, while those on the Trophy will be gold plated. I bought a Citation 7 1/4" barreled pistol around 5 ...

Re: What do I have here?

The very first XP's that Elgin rechambered were 7 IHMSA. My brother Charlie had one, and when you fireformed the brass it left a slight ring near the neck. The 7 IHMSA X corrected this problem

Re: Left The Range: Randall "Randy" Fussell (Georgia)

This is very sad news indeed ! Charlie and I were talking about Randy just the other day. My sincere condolences go out to Kesha and the Fussell family. We are all diminished by his passing, and we have lost yet another friend !

Re: 22 Hornet twist rate

I have never lost a hit target with my 22 Hornet using Hornady 55 gr. SP with a moderate load in Field Pistol and Practical Hunter Short Course. Just for addition comment on knock-down - I fired my 14" MGM 22 Hornet TC at a Big Bore match in UAS-Half Scale using the same moderate load. The final ...

Re: Bullet weight for CPT

Ditto on what Charlie said - I use the Hornady 55 grain SP, with a moderate load using Accurate #9. Used this load in both of my TC FP guns, and in a MGM 14" Hornet barrel for Practical Hunter. I have NEVER lost a solidly hit target with any of my guns using this load. I also shot my 14" barrel once ...

Re: ".357 Match" BF Chamber

What brass are you using ?? This was a different animal, but we had a shooter who bought a EABCO TC barrel in 357 Magnum "Match" . The only brass that he could use was Remington, because the wall thickness was a bit thinner. WW, Starline and Federal would not chamber a loaded round ! (I do not think ...
