It is 4:30AM Sunday morning - I have been up 24 hours straight. We have the house sandbagged, and have 3 pumps running. Water is still rising, but the house is safe - no water in the house. Had some help from members of the local LDS church, and the local government brought us some sandbags super fast. Staying hopeful - wish I was shooting !

Philip,

From your photo, I was sure you had an indoor pool. I am super happy that such is not the case & hope that you are able to keep the water at bay! All the best my friend!

I hope every thing is ok Philip. Gust think of it this way, if you had gone to the reg2 match you would have wone every thing and up set every one. Water in the house is always bad. About 14-15 yrs ago we has a big rain and had 12" in the house in 4 hrs. Lost a lot of things we could not rase up and lost a car also. Good luck on the clean up. It is nice having good friends to help out. Charles

Charles - I wish we BOTH could have been there !! Thanks to the help of friends AND strangers, we saved the house. Not a drop of water inside. My neighbor saved his also, but 2 adjacent houses were flooded. Barbara and I are exhausted - have been having to watch pumps 24 hrs. a day. The water has dropped steadly all day, so the worst has passed. Will have a lot of clean-up to do !
