We are happy to report that we had 2 guests with us at this match. Mike Lawson came all the way down from Lafayette IN. Mike has shot with us before, but It has been many, many years ago. Welcome back, Mike. Hope to see you again soon. Also, Jim Kesser from up in Ohio came to shoot with us. Jim is no stranger to anyone who has been to the Internationals, but has never been to shoot with us before. Welcome Jim—hope you will be able to make it down again soon. (and thanks for all of your help putting the targets away!)
We had a lot of different classes shot this month. Lately we have been having mostly only UAS classes. It was great to see a lot of standing shooting—led by Jim Kesser with a fine 30 in Unlimited Standing. Tom Wood managed our only 40 X 40 of the day with 6 shoot off targets. Joe Puffert got distracted by other things going on at the range and let one turkey slip by. Walt Sweet was our only half size shooter and had a little problem with his sights, ending up with only 5 rams.
Our next match is Sunday, May 27. Hope you can get away from your Memorial Day Festivities long enough to come out and shoot with us.
