I believe there was a discussion possibly a few years ago concerning the Red Dot sight as long as it was 1x. That may have been a trial or had an age restriction. Was there a decision on the legality ? Is it still a trial ?

Re: Use of Red Dot in Production
It was a trial a few years back for one year but caused so much controversy it was voted out at the delegates meeting in the middle of the trial year.
Red dots are considered an optic and are not legal for production.
