Season Opener at Little River Gun Club

Post by RockinHRacin »

Wow! What a great opener at Little River Gun Club!

It was great seeing old friends...lots of them. So many in fact that I had to leave before I had shot my third gun (half scale). I hope everybody else enjoyed their day as much as I did.

Thanks to Robert, Melvin, Ms. Norman, Ken and the 3 enthusiastic target setters! I hope we had enough garbage snacks out to bring you back again! LOL

Thanks, Chris. Glad you enjoyed it, but sorry you didn't get in your other gun. A little break in period for the target setters. Hopefully next time they will be up to speed. We ended up 40+ guns fired, and it was 5:30 before we left.
Always enjoy you coming up to shoot with us, and Robert and I really appreciate the support shown to us by all our GA(and SC)shooters.

Melvin,

I don't think it's said enough to Match Directors and other people that help run the match, but I really do appreciate what you do and thank you for making the match available.

I'll tell you that I'd rather not be able to shoot a gun because the match was that busy over ANY other reason. It didn't bother me at all to head home before I'd shot that gun. I chose to leave because my wife had plans for us that evening. It wasn't any other reason.

Oh yeah... I don't know if he's here, but CONGRATS to Eddy Hensley! I bow in your greatest. A 40 in 1/2 scale deserves at least that. I wish I had witnessed it.
