We had several shooter return after absences ranging from minor to quite long and the newer shooters seem to be broadening their repertoires.

Being relatively new (or maybe better put "inexperienced"!) to .22 UAS, I found it somewhat surprising that Turkey and Ram zeroes were significantly lower than in May! Turkeys about 1 MOA and Rams roughly 1 1/2 or 2 MOA less. Temps about 15-20 degrees warmer than two months ago. Almost got away with 1 MOA change the first go, but the very last Ram escaped with a shot just over it's back. Re-entry got me my second match leg, for first International classification! B-)

Shot without a spotter, I don't much care for it. It's really a team sport. But my usual spotter and fellow revolver FP shooter had more important duties this month.

Air Pistol has it's own learning curve. The IZH46 needs over one turn elevation change from Chickens to Rams! Sort of "winged it" last month, but wrote down some settings this time.... Also managed to shoot my leather blast/rust guard! No penetration, but the pellet went to parts unknown.

Also, it turns out to be good spotter training. Hits are tough to see, as the targets go down quickly and the pellets don't leave much mark unless it's a miss.
