Where were all the shooters? A faithful few showed up for a fairly nice, rather hot day. At least no rain. Big Bore was the choice of the day, as no one even tried any .22 or field pistol entries, and Walt Sweet was our only half scale shooter.
Dean Grua was able to shoot one gun, although only for target. His back hasn’t been allowing him to shoot as much as he would like to. Tom Wood led the way with a 40 X 40 plus 5 shoot off targets and came back with another 40 X 40 re-entry. Joe Puffert and Larry Egan both kept trying to knock down rams with their new guns, .223 and .222. It worked well on most of the targets, but the rams just wouldn’t cooperate.
Hopefully we will have more shooters next time and the weather will cooperate.
