As I mentioned in a earlier report today, my wife shot a 40 with my air pistol on her first time out. Later we got out the Contender with a 22LR match barrel and 4X scope set up to shoot in the flop position. She fired 50 rounds and missed only one target. I have 3/8 swingers set up at 25-50-75 yards, but don't currently have a good place to put the ram.
I guess every family needs at least one good shooter, and in this family it isn't me. However, I do a decent job of sighting-in the guns. ;)

Wow, she is doing really well...a natural shooter. Women have no preconceptions about shooting. When you teach them, they listen, they learn and they apply, whereas a lot men "think" they know everything about shooting because they watch TV.
"Are you gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?"

Thats great! Now you need to go buy her her own gun. It just isnt right for a man to get out shot by a woman with his own gun. At least if she has her own gun it gives ya some room for excuses ;)
I am a NRA certified pistol instructor as well as a hunter safety instructor. Over the years it has been my experience that out of the gate women are better shots then men. They are better able to follow instructions & are not limited by ego. Consequently at least initially they will consistently out shoot men.

In Georgia we learned this, too. Someone came up with the bright idea ''Let's teach Kesha Fussell to shoot''. We all know the results of that. rp
