COMMENTS

The Oregon State IHMSA Air Pistol Championship was a great success thanks to all that came and shot with us and helped to set up and run the match. Special thanks go to Steve Mooney and Jay Miazga for coming down from Washington State.

Steve was richly rewarded for his efforts. He was match champion in every event he entered taking the Production, Standing, Unlimited, Unlimited Any Sight, and Unlimited Standing titles home with him.

While Steve won the Unlimited Any Sight title, Tom Santos tied him, both shooting perfect 60’s. Tom lost in the shoot-off 4x5 targets to Steve’s 5x5. But, Tom’s score did earn him High Senior. Tom was also our Unlimited Standing Iron Sight champion. It was nice to have a couple of titles stay in Oregon!

Jay Miazga shot Unlimited Any Sight with an International classification as he had not shot that event prior to this match. His first time out with a borrowed pistol, and he fired a very nice 59x60 earning him a AAA classification.
