I have been working with some of Ted's friends, and we are creating the Ted Zysk "Dragon Slayer" Memorial Trophy for the West Coast Championship.
Ted was a huge promotor of both Half & Fifth Scale but refused to shoot IHMSA matches with a scope. Thus, the award will be a 10 year traveling trophy awarded to the high 2 gun aggregate shot with iron sights in Half & Fifth Scale. Each year's winner will be able to keep & display it for a year. Ten plates will detail the winner's name, year, and aggregate score.
At the end of 10 years, it will be given to the person who wins it the most years. In the event there are no multiple year winners, it will go to the highest single score. In the event of a tie, there will be a shoot-off. If this does not break it due to the people not being present, it will go to the highest score with the shooter present.
Assuming we can complete the design as anticipated, this will be an outstanding trophy that will be coveted by the ultimate winner of it.
Your first opportunity to win this prestigious award will be June 17-21, 2014.
Looking forward to seeing you in 2014!
Steve W.

Sounds like a great trophy. I think Ted would be proud. I'm just glad to see that you and your members are still planning on shooting silhouettes for 10 more years.
