Our April Match was well attended this year. We had 25 entries this time. Most April matches are a little lightly attended because of spring break. We're glad evryone came. Jerry and Judy Stringham came up from Il. and brought Darrel Holcombe with them. Ricky Foster brought Ray Purcell with him and Ted Malone brought his daughter Jennie. We had a great time.

The shooting was hot. Old blind man Will Curlin stumbled into a R-40, P-40 and an U-38. We can't convince him to shoot standing and go for the 100-140 clubs. Ted Malone bobbed and weaved in the gale force winds to shoot a fine BB S-27. David Bemis and Will actually tied in U-Int, but since it was Will's birthday we gave him the win. David and I duelled it out on the fifth scale targets at the end of the day. We shot them from temporary firing line that will be used at the ECC. The turkeys and rams ate my lunch and took my milk money. David bested me by 1.
