Last match of this season. Finished shooting and asked daughter to video my DW 357 Max with 21.5 IMR 4227 and Sierra 170 FMJ load.

Her reaction is awesome!!!

my favorite memory was the 2001 annual 1/2 size match. The first thing on the match report said this: Dan Hagerty shoots his first ever Open Sight 1/2 size 40 and Loses! #-o

my other was when I was match director, I setup a Cardboard Turkey for a shooter, and after the second shot went through the target, He was ready to kill me! :D :D

When I miss a target, I always quit for many years and sell the gun.

If I followed that miss rule I would never get to shoot the rest of my life and would have sold ALL my guns. I think I will just keep missing and having fun!!!!

How about missing a 80x80 at a state match by putting one G.D round thru the hole in the head.

Probably not at all that unusual, but I reckon bringing two boxes of ammo for one revolver and none for another ought to qualify as a blooper. Did that a couple of matches ago... #-o

Years ago I had two identical Virginia Dragoon silhouette revolvers, one in 357 mag and the other in 44 mag. Grabbed the 44 one match and went to load for chickens and the cartridge slipped out the front of the cylinder. Yep, grabbed the box of 357 mag ammo instead of my 44 ammo. I'm sure that would have been my day to shoot a 40!!!!
