September's match is now history. A good majority of our regular shooters were out of town for this match. Those of you that could not attend missed a great match. Hopefully you can make the last match of our 2014 season, October 12, 2014. Please note, this is the "second" Sunday of October.
I would first like to thank those of you that took extra time to help setup and take down targets. Bob Longsworth assisted calling the match as well as setting targets. Bob, Dennis and Don assisted until all was completed. During setup one of our Jackson club members Terry B. assisted. Unfortunately Terry had to leave after watching a few relay's. Thank you Terry and bring that 357 in Oct. Judy and I are thankful for everyones commitment and filling the gap when others were unable to attend.

We had Rich and Diane Hawkins from IN join our match for the first time. Harry and Sharon Alder also made the long drive from western MO. Mike Davis drives a great distance and we appreciate your commitment. Steve Beck Montgomery travels from Ohio but received news on his way to Paducah which prevented him from making the complete trip. Look forward to seeing you next month Steve. Hopefully everyone enjoyed attending our match and shooting at this challenging range. Our goal is to have
30 or more entries in October. If you know someone that has expressed interest please invite them to attend.

We as a group have shown great flexibility and selected shooting disciplines which allow almost every person to participate in one form or another. I believe most everyone that attends our match returns. That is a reflection of something being done correctly. We have a wonderful group of people participating at Jackson. When you get involved we listen to your request. So please give this some though, this is our range to enjoy. We are also fortunate to have a club such as Jackson Purchase Rifle and Pistol Club to support this great sport of silhouette shooting.
