My guess is it was a Bolo Mauser

I had one years ago & they are great fun to shoot! I still kick myself for selling it! :(( One of the most common calibers they are found in is 30 Luger (7.62x21).

Lets see, a while back a guy brought a contender in 50-70 that was launching a 750gr BMG bullet at about 800fps. He didnt shoot it in the match but we had some fun after the match. It would push the rams back about 4-5 feet from the rail. Another guy brought an AK-47 pistol to shoot US.

Hmmm. There are production-legal ways to set up a Glock in 45ACP. I think I'm getting an idea. :-)

Shot my EAA Witness .45ACP (230gr Winchester Target Loads "White Box"), factory 4.75 inch barrel first time out. The sights were set up for home defense so everything was pure guess work...
Shot my next match (same set of targets) with the same weapon in .22lr (factory conversion) 40gr "Match" Elay rounds and hit 3 more targets =))

For "Fun" during practice, I took a few attempts at the 200 Yard rams with the .22lr and got 3 "Tings" and nothing dropped :D

Glock 40 S&W for Big Bore Production Standing
I'm actually looking at a Blackhawk in .30 Carbine. I didn't think it would have enough power to knock over Big Bore targets, especially the rams. How did he do?

For the oddest caliber, a couple years ago a guy was using what I believe was a 9mm or .40 semi-auto that he used as his carry gun, just for the fun of it. Standing, one-handed, and seems like he hit a few.
