357 max
Well I decided to take the plunge and sent my 12" T/C 357 mag bbl to Mike Bellm and had it re chambered to 357 max and had a 6 screw Weaver mount installed. Got it back Friday and have a new Bushnell 3200 Elite on it. I loaded 50rds of new Remington 357 max brass with 18gr of IMR4227 and a NOE 180gr sil RCBS clone sized .358, .11alum gas check and Satan lube. They are water dropped wheel weight alloy. I hope all this investment will work out ok.

NOE are great moulds. The RCBS 180 silhouette is a very accurate bullet so you will probably find an accurate load with no problems. AA1680 is also a good powder for your cast loads. Let us know how the 4227 works out. Bellm's rechambers are supposed to be about the best out there especially with the 357 Max.

Re: 357 max
You ought to try the RCBS 200 grain cast bullet, originally made for the .35 Remington.
I use this bullet in my Dan Wesson Mk 40, behind 19 grains of IMR 4227, and it is very
accurate load. Cast from wheel weights, and water quenched, it comes out of the
mold at 209 grains. The same load also shot fantastically in my Wichita production
single shot.

Re: 357 max
The 357 Max is an excellent cast bullet caliber.
I have owned 2 TC's, A Ruger Blackhawk SRM and a Wichita in this caliber and they all liked cast bullets.
The bullets I have found that work well are: RCBS 180gr SIL, The RCBS 200Gr and the Saeco 200Gr bullets. the RCBS and Saeco 200Gr are almost identical to each other.
Best Powders I have used have been H4227 and AA MP5744. IMR4227 is very close to these and should work also.
My present load though is 18.0Grs of MP5744 with a Saeco 200Gr cast in The Wichita.
The load you picked should work well.
