RCBS Chargemaster Combo Repairs

Post by Proclaim »

Has anyone experienced a need for repairs on an RCBS Chargemaster Combo unit?
I was looking to buy a used one that the owner mentioned the #9 key will intermittently stick. I emailed RCBS repair and they said they do not repair these units. The only thing they offer is that the original owner could "trade-in the broken unit for $150."
It seems a little crazy to me that there isn't any repair service available. Any information you have would be appreciated. Thanks!

are you talking about the older 2 piece units that sat side by side using the led port to link up or the newer one piece style, front to back, ones. the older ones were manuf. by pact and they still do repair them.

gruco,
I was considering buying a unit that had this problem so I don't know whether it was the old style or new. I decided on a different route anyway. Thanks!
