TC Barrell length

Post by kg4tyr »

Why does TC not offer a barrel that fits the 10 3/4" production category, like the old days? It seems foolish to me to offer a 12" and 14" barrel. :-\

There are many suitable barrels to be had on the secondary market. Check GraybeardOutdoors or Gunbroker. It appears T/C has determined 12'' and 14'' barrels are what the public wants. While IHMSA shooters have historically bought and used the 10'' barrels, we have also been most critical of their quality. We give a frame more use in a season than most others would in 10 years.

Ed's TC's is a good place to find the 10" barrels. The NRA has allowed the 12" barrels in their production class.
