Some of the early scores were posted on the IHMSA Flickr group. The match is over so I'm in hopes that pictures of the final scores have been taken and will be posted.

I believe one reason this sport has lost some of the appeal it once had is this...

When people attend one of our or any other shooting event they would like to leave knowing the results. Early on we used to keep a running tally of scores throughout the day. Those that stayed until the end knew the final results. That changed due to comments about certain people supposedly sand bagging after knowing what score it took to win.
Okay, it is now normal protocol to receive results through the internet, snail mail or the IHMSA paper. On a local level I believe each match director knows the importance of keeping his match attendees informed and updated on there personal progress. In my experience most shooters loose all the hipe and excitement of shooting in about three to four days. So as a match director I try my level best to get a match report out within that time frame. It may not always happen but you can bet it is a high priority in my mind.

With that said, it is beyond my comprehension why the major event of this sport cannot have results shared with those that support it.
The cost involved in going to the Internationals alone should warrant respect to our membership to provide a timely report.
If this is not the official site of IHMSA as stated in another post, we need to take the IHMSA logo off the top of this page and call it "Friends of IHMSA" or something more appropriate.
I believe in this organization and support it fully. I care about growth, thus this post.
Please provide some feedback to our members. It will draw them back to the next match!
