I have always had good accuracy from 19 grains of h-110 or win 296 in
the .357 super mag. It takes down the rams, and I use the RCBS 200
grain bullet, originally designed for the .35 remington. The reason I
think the supermag did not survive was know-it-all gun writers who
werent "consulted" in the development of the cartridge. The very
worst of these "writers" was the late Bob Milek. He never wasted
a chance to down the cartridge, tho I doubt he EVER shot IHMSA
silhouette matches.
