Re: What's your handle mean?
Found out about IHMSA while looking for a range in Baton Rouge. EBRSO range told me about the APSO range and when I went to their wbsite I saw this Ascension silhouette on their calendar. That lead me here and to the register button
As I have just picked up a Glock ...... well there it is
I haven't joined the IHMSA yet but I'd like to visit when there is a shoot on.

Come on down, "Glock", we'll be glad to have you. It's an easy drive from BR and we're easy to find. Our next match is scheduled for April 7th and we start shooting at 9:00AM. It's a good idea to arrive earlier so we can get you up to speed before the match starts. If you've been to the APSO website, you have the address.
We hope to see you April 7th.

Re: What's your handle mean?
I will certainly try to make the 7th. The range is not far from me at all.
I'm interested to see what goes on, but as I've only been able to get 200 rounds through my new 17 I'd like to get more experience with it before stepping up to a competition environment. So far I know I'm ... hmmm .... ok shooting left or right handed.
Photos of first shoot are here
Is it on wet or fine?

Re: What's your handle mean?
We usually don't shoot in the rain, but a forecast of rain does not stop us from setting up. We plan to shoot on each scheduled day and only stop if weather is really bad.Glock wrote:I will certainly try to make the 7th. The range is not far from me at all.
