Hi Boys and girls Santa here
one of your members here Ole95 has been good this year and has ask for a new spotting scope for Christmas :D
the one a got him a few years ago was Ok when he was just pistols @ 50yards but when he move up to play with the
big boy in big bore It just wont do.
So Santa is here asking for your advice Cause Santa don't know shit about spotting scopes
some are straight some are crocked some are 45x some 60x some made by one company and some by another
and before your start that buy all you can afford crap Let me tell you ole95 has been under $250 good O:-)
really most day only under $200 good :ymdevil:
so give me your advice cause if your nice ole95 mite just spot for you some day :-bd

I concur with Steve. A few years back I discovered a pair of Nikon that are 16x50. They work well for spotting on our targets and fair for large holes in paper out to around 50m. If you want to pick out .22 holes at 100m on paper you'll have to go to a true spotting scope. The binocs are easy to pack and store and they have a tab for use with a tripod if you need it. rp
I have served as assistant match director, Southern Silhouette club, 1980s. Also, the Griffin Gun Club for Silhouette during the 1990s, to about 2005. For a short period I authored the ''Cast Bullet'' section of The IHMSA News. Joined IHMSA March 1979.

thanks but looking for something to pick up holes in paper @200m more than seeing hits on steel :)
