Re: which is hardest
I still say for ME the hardest is the 1/2 scale. It may be that I shoot 1/5 scale more often (usually at every match). I gave the 40 shoot-offs a go yesterday. Wound up with a 38. My best score yet and got my second leg into AAA.

Re: which is hardest
ok after my 1st HS match yesterday my vote is FS
the only time I shot FS I shot a 22 and felt I was I did my best
yesterday I shot a 25 in my 1st. HS and
gave my self a black eye on the pigs and Turkeys
I believe I can shoot a 30 in HS but I don't think a 30 in FS will ever come my way
but keep the votes coming and I will up date the results
congrads Greg on your shooting

Re: which is hardest
Without a doubt, Fifth-Scale is toughest. It doesn't take much misalignment of the sights or scope to miss, nor much wind to blow the round off target. And you are limited to factory ammunition. most of which is not up to par for this category.

Re: which is hardest
while i find both disciplines a challenge,my vote would have to be 1/5 scale,it requires more focus and as others have stated wind , ammo and sight alignment combined with smaller area of target leave less room for any error

Re: which is hardest
when I was younger, I found HS to be harder.
now that i am older and my eyes have changed, I find FS to be harder.
but, someday I will actually shoot FS with an unlimited gun. I have always shot FS with an FA 22
