Increased security implimented

The spammers have found our little corner of the internet & have begun their dastardly deeds...

I have deleted a number of posts & banned even more IP's but they just keep coming. To combat it I have up'ed the security requirements for new users signing up. Hopefully this will stem the flow without unduly in-conveyancing new users.

Existing users will see no change, similarly our ghosts can continue unabated.

The onslaught continues from the spammers so I am upping the anti...

I changed the account setup to Administrative approval. What that means is I will review & approve/decline any new members. Free/unverifiable email address are by default no longer allowed. If you register with no other info save a free email address your membership will be declined.

If you have no option save a free email address then email me at bob[at]ihmsa.org to state your case.

My apologies to anyone that is inconvenienced by this but the spammers are relentless! I know times are tough, however spamming is akin to a door to door salesman sticking his foot in your door.
