Good .22 ammo

The bullets may be smaller but not the challenge.

Good .22 ammo

Post by Jimologist »

I recently tried some of the Sellior and Bellot target .22 ammo and was reasonably happy with it.

It grouped almost as good as the older SK standard plus and the CMP Eley practice that came in the white box with a plastic bag of 500.

One of our local suppliers had it at 3.79/box of 50 which came out to just a tad over $400 a case.

When I say it is almost as good, I feel it is excellent for practice and save the good stuff for matches. And save the real good stuff for the really big matches.

Give it a try. The CMP Eley practice is no longer available and everything else is almost twice as much.

Has anyone else tried the S&B 22LR ammo? How about a link to an online retailer? Thanks!

Hate to report but cannot find it listed anywhere. Ammo seek only lists one place as having it in stock and that one place is probably a scam site.

S & B standard velocity was made in the Czech Republic.

Maybe what we bought was a one time run and one time shipment?

Im glad we bought a case.

Sorry for what now appears bogus info.
