Looking for info on IHMSA member 111

I am hoping for info on member #111. The reason I'm asking is because in 2009, I bought a Dan Wesson 375SM wearing S/N# 111. Since the 375SM's were only sold to IHMSA members, I'm fairly sure the S/N's were the member numbers.
In it's past someone did an AMAZING trigger job on it, these days it is easily one of my very favorite DW's to shoot. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone could give me more info on this person, living or deceased. Thanks!

Ok, I am going to pass on some info.

First, Since your gun's serial number started with SM, This was Most definitely the members serial number. Factory serial numbers were numbers only.

also, The gun probably first sold in March 1984. Also, I can tell you that that member Joined IHMSA sometime in Late 1975.

The following you might find of interest. On the right of the first file, is the first notice on the DW 375SM. The second was the first full ad for it.

I provided info on member 111 but I guess my reply was deleted. I guess someone on here didn't want you to know who it was. Private message me if you want to know who it was. I don't have a clue if they are still alive or not but I know who they were in 1976.

The membership director is Cathy Hillyer, she does not post here, her husband Randy rarely visits the forum. I'll see if I can track down contact info, if any. Don't get your hopes up, gun was sold 40 years ago and as stated, the member may have passed or unable to respond.
