I want to start this report with the weather. It was cold :ymsick: . The wind blew at gale force and we froze to death. Most shooters shot one gun and went home. The friday before the match it was warm with tornadoes all around the range. We were afraid upon arrival our lane would be closed and covers and clubhouse blown down. As they say if you don't like the weather in Ky. wait a few minutes it will change. The .22s were especially challenging. There was a good 10-12 clicks of windage needed at the turkeys and rams. I never thought I would have to dope the wind that much at a match.

We had two new shooters give it a try this month. Jeremy England from Russell Springs and Robert Begley from Lexington. I had met Jeremy on Specialty Pistols and Robert is a friend of Ricky Foster. David Harrell who shot with us in the 90s came with Jeremy. Maybe we can get him to shoot some also. Welcome guys. We certainly hope you come back and we have better weather for you. As you can imagine the scores were a little down. Will Curlin managed a 40 in bigbore unlimited. All the while complaining he couldn't see. Jeremy managed a 34 in bigbore UAS the first time through then tried it again and managed a 36. In smallbore Robert managed a 12 in UAS with a borrowed gun and no sight settings.

Our next match is April 1st. So come see us.
