Hello Elmo! It's been years. Last time I remember seeing you was in Charlottesville, Va. Been way too long. I ask Glenn Dixon if he has seen you every time I see him. I used to travel with Chuck Young and Will Curlin. Will still shoots but Chuck doesn't. Hope to see you again.
Greg Rhineheimer if you remember me.

My name is Art McCoy. Formerly of Carrolltown Pennsylvania USA. Shot at Bellwood and several other locations in central PA. Should Probably have used something like "Thirteen" for a handle as that was the first score I ever shot back in about 1984? Now living in Perth Western Australia.

My name is Mark and I live in Arizona.

In the 1980s I shot NRA Hunter Pistol, Long Range Standing, and Long Range Unlimited Freestyle. My shooting took a backseat to raising my children, but now that they've grown up and are out on their own and after losing my wife last year, I find myself with lots of time on my hands. My pistol silhouette interest has come alive again. I've kept my shooting skills sharp with my Thompson Contender and have acquired a few new barrels for it. I can hardly wait to get back into shooting. I have one club locally that shoots the NRA Hunter Pistol disciplines, but I am looking at my options. I hope to find an IHMSA affiliated club in the Phoenix metro area to shoot with.

I am currently working on sub-2000 fps .22 Hornet loads.

My favorite 14" Contender barrels are .30 Herrett (Recoil proof T/C scope), .357 Herrett, 7mm TCU (favorite long range unlimited), and the .375 Winchester.
My favorite 10" Contender barrels are .30 Herrett, .22 LR (4x Burris scope), .30 M1 Carbine, and .22 Hornet (just got it and love it)

I dream of having a .375 JDJ Contender barrel in either a 10", 12" or 14" some day.
The .17 HMR is an interesting cartridge and I'd like to see it in action.

Contender barrels I'm looking for:
  • 10" .22 Jet
    10-12" .221 Fireball
    10" .270 REN
    10-12" .32-20
I can spend hours at my loading bench and I've been known to take the loading bench to the range to work up loads.

See ya on the firing line,

Mark

Hello allowing
My name is David but I go by Rupe (sounds like loop with an r) I join last month. I have only shot one match so far. I'll shoot my next tomorrow at the COSSA range Bend Oregon. I have been a handgun hunter for about 10 years now and thought I would. Try Ihmsa and learn town shoot beyond 100yrds. I shoot a SBH. 44mag Hunter for hunting and I picked up a .308win striker for IHMSA as well as using my 44mag. I Will BE SHOOTING UAS with the striker and not sure with the. 44mag yet.
Nice to be here and hope to meeting's some offered you soon. Rupe
