1st match with "flop" Charger
I was finally able to "wring out" the Charger today, and was impressed with the results. I only had a 25 yard zero, and had to transpose scope settings from other guns. The BSA scope leaves a bit to be desired, but seemed to track well. My technique needs work, but when I did my part - a dead-center hit was the result. I ended the day with a 39x40, missing my #9 ram. I knew it was a miss when the gun went off. I am going to campaign this gun all year in UAS, and my 1st impression was VERY positive - this gun is definitely a shooter !!

I love my Charger too. Good luck with it. You'll get that 40 next time.

Re: 1st match with "flop" Charger
I'm starting the new year with a Anschutz Exemplar that I just picked up. Mounted a 2-6 3200 on it and shot some Eley Match EPS that my son gave me for Christmas.
Shot uasfs with it yesterday and shot my first 40 with it on those targets. Had been shooting a Savage Striker up until then. The Exemplar is WAY easier to shoot. Will be doing some ammo testing in the near future, with the hopes of finding an ammo that's reasonably priced, and save the Eley just for shoot-offs.

I love mine. Of course, I've modded it to the teeth, but I honestly believe that a stock Charger can shoot a 40. We might have to make that happen this year... LOL

My wife and I each shoot an Anschutz. Ourguns like the SK Pistol Match. Very reasonable price at Champion's.40xmike wrote:I'm starting the new year with a Anschutz Exemplar that I just picked up.
