E Arthur brown sells both front and rear sights for the TC and may fit other guns. his rear sight is a champion sight:

he also sells Merits but out of stock right now.
Kensight has rear sights for the XP-100. it is mainly the champion sight with ken lights modifications:

I have a set from EABCO coming to put on my Contender .22 barrel. Wondering how much elevation can you get with the Champion sight for 200 and 500 meter.

You mention Merits. Can you use a rear peep in creedmore? I use a Merit on my lever gun and it seems way too small at arms length.nutcase wrote:E Arthur brown sells both front and rear sights for the TC and may fit other guns. his rear sight is a champion sight:

Also, What is this rear sight? Some kind of hood for the rear sight?

500m targets should be ok providing you first screw the rear all the way down and then adjust the front to hit at 50m. I like to be 3-5 clicks from bottom for 50m.
Rear peep usually associated with a front peep & shooting forward prone. Sometimes a King tube is used with peep inserts from creedmore position.
Yes, the Anschutz has a sight hood.

Re: Sights for Unlimited
the merit peep sight attachment is mainly used in the prone (Flop) position. it does not help much in creedmore as you are too far away from it. a lot of us use the Merit optical attachment on our glasses as it helps bring the target into focus.
looking at the sight, it most likely is a Bomar rear sight with a hood. the front sight is an OLD anshutz front sight.
Just remember, on Unlimited guns, you can use any sight that does not have any magnification. the only exception is red dot sights are not allowed.

Re: Sights for Unlimited
Thanks guys, I finally took possession of my new Encore in 6.5 x 47. Hoping to get the sights setup and a few rounds down range soon.

Re: Sights for Unlimited
I put a 20 moa rail on my 6.5 x 47, not sure I needed it with the scope. I use far less adjustment than I thought I would need. You want to remember that 10 clicks at 500m moves the bullet far more than 10 clicks at 50m.
