President's Report in December issue of IHMSA News said we will get our 2017 membership cards and a printed newsletter (?) in Mid March via mass mailing. Guess we need to use our 2016 cards for early 2017 matches. Is the "printed newsletter" the same as a new issue of the IHMSA News? Guess we will have to wait and see.

Yes, the 2017 annual printed issue of the IHMSA news will be mailed mid March. We are doing a bulk mailing this year. It is important that you have your correct mailing address as bulk mail will not forward or return the newsletters. Get your addresses updated with Ray. The 2017 membership cards will be inside the annual issue, if your dues are current. If not get your renewal in as soon as possible it saves the organization a lot of money and manpower if we can get most of the renewals done at the same time. Use your 2016 cards until you receive the new cards. We won't be mailing rule books this year as nothing has changed. The current rule book is available on this site. If you need hard copies of the rule book contact Ray.

All final edits have been completed, newsletter is at printer.Score cards for those that have paid 2017 dues will be stapled inside newsletter. Will be mailed out when completed by printer.
We are doing our best to get a updated membership list this year, sorry for the delay.

cj, Thanks for the update. Everyone appreciates the hard work by the team to complete all the tasks to get the newspaper and membership cards into our hands.

Thank you for your kind words. About 1400 names, address needed to be edited to satisfy postal service bulk mail requirements. That was one of many hurdles to get this to the printer.
I'd like to thank my wife Diane and oldest son Jared for the long nights and weekends spent to make this happen.
Neither one gets any compensation for their efforts.
We're proud of the newsletter, hope you all enjoy it!

cj, Please pass on a big thanks to your wife and son for their hand, and I'm sure their support for you for all you and they have done for IHMSA. I don't belong to any other group and am always amazed how many people provide support behind the scenes for our sport. This is the type of dedication that has kept IHMSA alive over the years. Very mush appreciated by all the members!!!!
