Variable Power Scope
Variable Power Scope
I'd like to acquire a variable power, long eye relief scope. I have a Burris 3-12 and it's great, but I'd like to try something with more magnification. I've been told that rifle scopes can be converted to long eye relief but I'm not finding much information on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like something as compact as possible with zoom of 16x or more. The gun this gets mounted on will just be a bench gun, no competition.

Re: Variable Power Scope
What most people do is this - use a rifle scope, and pull back. This will decrease your field of view, but will keep the eyepiece from contacting your skull !! if your pistol has a muzzle brake, you may not even need to pull back.

Re: Variable Power Scope
Been doing that with one of my single shots, and it does work fine. I'm just more comfy with my arms stretched out a bit. Thanks for the input!
