Enough of the "newbie" (mind you it's only my third BB match and am still committing stupid errors!), here's some of the "A" team:

Huzzah! for the target resetters! (Way back at the ram line)

But he wasn't alone:

Thank you all for your help .. BLESS THE TARGET SETTERS .. with thermometer in a truck showing 117 degrees in the sun the BLACK heavy rams could not have been fun .. There has never been a more helpful group of people in the shooting community than IHMSA shooters. They will give you all of information you need to beat them .. Then it's up to you. I think JMOORE may be stretching reality a bit. I doubt I will be a monster EVER .. I can't see the rams . Whatever part of the blur I was aiming at was the wrong part. I will say it is the most fun I have ever had shooting IHMSA. After hitting 9 out of 10 Turkeys I wanted to do the happy dance. But at 100 degrees in the shade I would have passed out .. :) i would have loved video of the 9 out of 10 turkeys.
ALSO it was not a spotter error for the 2 lost chickens .. Earphones turned off and a failure to count was 99.99% of the error . :)) I will blame him .1%

I tend to think that it was indeed the shooting box! Great score first time! I love seeing the enthusiasm of new shooters.
We enjoyed having you at the match, and Imthink you will be back! ;)

If a little is good then too much ought to be about right. So...:

Later in the day.

I feel for Lance F, who is a new shooter and has yet to find a spotter, especially off in the lonely Field Pistol/Small Bore barn:

And Richard P who lost his usual partner.

kdiver58,
Great shooting, you have taken to Big Bore like a fish to water.....looks like you and jmoore make a great team. Now we may need to work on locking those knees together in the creedmore position for an even more stable position.

Ain't no need to feel for me jmoore. I'm having a great time even if I'm not up there with the rest of you ruffians!

I'm just glad you spotted for me a bit a couple of matches back. If you hadn't, I'd never have known I was ringing those FP rams. I'd have just thought I was missing 'em! Thankfully, I've worked up a proven load now for those light bullets that will knock 'em down instead of having them laugh at me when I hit 'em!

:(( :(( :(( Sad thing is that I may not be able to shoot another match for the rest of the year :((
I have two nephews and a niece getting married and I know for sure that at least the next 2 months are not going to work and then there is the state match.
