Who makes custom TC Grips ?

Post by captainjohn »

I have a piece of walnut from my old shooting partner (John Kuenzel) who is dying from cancer. I'd like to have a contender pistol grip made from it so a part of him still goes to the range with me.
Their was a company "best little" something that made grips, can't find or remember name, maybe you guys could help
Thanks in advance. JR

Try http://www.tonysforendsandgrips.net/ they make TC grips and might be willing to use your wood. At least worth asking.
Also ask http://www.highplainsgunstocks.com/
Last resort contact J. D. Jones at http://sskindustries.com/ and ask him if he would know of anyone who could take your wood and make you a grip.
Good luck. Sounds like a very worthwhile project.

Hey John, you might try Ishmael out of Texas, I think.
Maybe somebody can confirm?

The company you are looking for is The Best Little Grip Shop. If I can remember right, it is or was located in either WV or Virginia. Haven't seen any advertisement for them in a long time. Maybe this will help steer you in the right direction, good luck.

I believe you can find James Williams of Covington, Ga. 'ole Ga Jim'' on FB and maybe on S P. He does nice work. RP
