Invisible Chicken Target

Not a worry. I remember the Griffin Gun Club targets being fairly non uniform, esp. leg lengths, and that's how I started out. If these practice targets are a wee bit skinny it's all to the better!

Once upon a time, there was an outfit called "Practice makes Perfect" that made all disciplines of silhouette targets to scale. Wish now I had ordered some as templates. I grabbed a few targets from the club and traced them on blank paper, then cut out the shape and used it as a template to spray paint the target onto cardboard.

I also traced the targets on the backside of a 12x18 Birchwood Casey Shoot-N-See target and cut out the outline. Then I peeled it off and placed it on a large cardboard. The bullet holes leave huge fluorescent green spots, easily visible at 200m even thru my 8x pistol scope. I bought several packages of their 1" repair dots too. So I can shoot 10 shots into 1/2 scale targets at BB distances, and then repair them for pennies.

I never could think inside that stupid little box........
