1/2 Scale Pigs Feet?

I am looking at manufacturing a set of ½ scale targets and have a question about the feet for the pigs.
The website lists the feet at 2” x 4” but this is too small to fit both feet in 1 foot, but the legs are too close to put 2 feet in the centre of each leg. Just wondering if you could please clarify how to configure the feet.

The feet should almost touch each other in the middle. If I remember correctly. When we built our field pistol targets the welder used a solid piece then cut in half after wlding to target.

1/2 scale Pig's feet? Heck, they sell them around here in most country stores. They are in a big jar on the counter. They are pickled.
