Despite a small attendance we had a great match today with three new IHMSA members and some good scores. Kyle Devall, who shot with us for the first time last month, was here with a new IHMSA membership and posted a 40X40 in UAS with a borrowed Ruger Charger. Steve Hernandez was here and he had renewed his IHMSA membership after a long absence. We also signed up my nephew Clay Marix as a new IHMSA member. Clay then went on to shoot a 40X40 in UAS with a Ruger Charger which he borrowed from Philip. Philip shot another 40X40 in UAS with that same Ruger. I shot a 40X40 in Unlimited, my first such score in that category in over a year. Philip shot another perfect score in PHSC with his Contender 22 Hornet. We were happy to see Region 2 Director Allen Gaskin today. Thanks for making that long drive to shoot with us. Steve Hernandez brought along a friend, John Ducote, and we hope we have set the IHMSA hook on him. John’s brother Nelson used to shoot with us years ago. Ellis Sisk let two rams evade his FA revolver so he finished with a 38X40 in PH22. Our match day regular and elder statesman Robert Stevens had some malfunctions with his Ruger Charger and had to stop after the pigs. You’ll get them all next month Bob. Thanks to all those who stayed to help pick up after the match.

Looks like LA shooters only know how to shoot perfect or near perfect scores. Wow, what a great match and three new IHMSA members too. You all are doing something right.
When I read the LA and GA scores I'm glad we don't hold North/South championship matches. Us Yankees don't shoot that well.
I wonder if my Charger will shoot perfect scores???????
