Merrill patch

Post by Alvin »

Merrill pistol patch.jpg
I've been digging around the house and getting rid of excess "stuff" and came across a large patch for Merrill pistols. I think this might be from when Jim Rock first took over from Rex Merrill. Not sure. First taker can have it......I just want it to go to someone who would appreciate it. Just email me..

Al, Got the patch. It is BIG. Thanks
Are you still shooting CBs? Are you still shooting your 41 Mag Seville/Eldorado?
I always enjoys your CB articles in the early papers.

No, I don't shoot CB's much anymore in IHMSA matches...I started making my own jacketed bullets around the early '90's and have stuck with them. I thought moving up to jacketed bullets was the next "step" in making bullets and took the plunge. Started using Sierra jackets that they sold, back when they were in California and then switched over to J-4 jackets for many years. My tooling guy found a large amount of Sierra's jackets that had been overlooked in his storage area and now I'm back to using Sierra jackets until that supply runs out. Still enjoy making the bullets....I do make and load CB's for a couple of rifles, but just not for IHMSA competition. Found out that not many out there make jacketed bullets for IHMSA so I was one of the few . Still shooting CB's for all my USPSA matches though.
Thanks for the kind words....hope you enjoy the patch!!
