3 T/C Contenders for sale

I haven’t shot IHMSA in a number of years and I’m selling off the last of my guns. All 3 of these guns ar basically the same except for the caliber. They are Thompson Center Contenders with excellent triggers, factory 10” barrels, Ken Light full length ribs and Bomar sights. The calibers are .22LR, .270 REN, and .32 H&R Magnum. All 3 of them have a very narrow slot in the rear sight for use in standing. They all shoot quite well, the .270 REN took me all the way to International class in Field Pistol and the other 2 took me to AAA in Small Bore & Large Bore Standing. I had a load worked up for the .32 H&R using a Sierra 135 grain SSP bullet that worked quite well, light on recoil but would take a ram, though I did on occasion ring a pig. Years before that I used this barrel in NRA Hunters Pistol using a Speer 100 gr bullet.

The .32 & .270 both include a bunch of brass and some loaded ammo. The price is $500 each.

Sorry to see your selling off the last of your Silhouette guns. I always enjoyed shooting and visiting with you in Ft. Stockton. Often wondered what happened to you , hadn’t seen you or read your name in the paper for a long time. Hope all is well with you.

Thanks for the well wishes. I’m doing great, keeping busy doing a little gun work for myself and a few friends and might open it up as a business at some point. I have a complete machine shop and years of trading so I might as well.

I held onto the last of the silhouette guns just in case but I haven’t shot a match since 2004 so instead of keeping them as safe queens I’m selling them off. The .32 is taken. The other 2 are still available.
