Facts of the big 3

Post by ole95 »

IHMSA just finished having its 3 big matches of the year. The ECC, WCC and the INT.
And I'm sure most don't care but I for one enjoy reading not only the big 3 score
but scores of the local matches as well. ~o)
After studying the results from the big 3 I came up with these interesting facts.
Remember the WCC and ECC were 60 rounds and the INT. was 80
Interesting facts
The INT. had 1 more SB shot than BB, ECC had 1 more BB than SB and WCC weighted heavier on BB
The INT. had more perfect scores shot in SB, The WCC had more in BB and the ECC didn’t have any shot in SB
The INT. had more shooters in HS and FS but the WCC had more perfect scores in HS and FS
The only had Perfect scores @ ECC was shot in BB
The INT. had 34 shooters in SB UAS with 9 perfect scores
The WCC only had 13 shooters in SB UAS but had 10 Perfect scores (and yes I was one of 3 that did not)
The ECC had more shooters in FP than the WCC but less than the INT.
The INT had 2 more shooters shoot perfect with scopes than Iron sights
The ECC had Twice as many and the WCC had a third more.
The INT. had as many shooters shoot HS U as they did shoot HS UAS (18 and 18) and only had 1 perfect score
The WCC had 3 more shoot HS UAS then HS U ((17 and 14) but had 7 perfect scores
The ECC was 10 to 1 HS UAS to HS U and no perfect scores
The ECC had more shooters shoot BB and SB standing than the WCC but less than the INT.
The WCC had more scoped perfect scores than the INT. but they tied with iron sights
The INT. had more shooter SB UAS than any other
The WCC had more in BB UAS. And the ECC had the same in SB UAS and BB UAS
The INT. had more in BB production than SB Production
The WCC had more in SB production than BB Production and again the ECC had the same in each
I could be a little off on this my math is just as bad as my grammar and spelling
This is based on the WCC and ECC scores posted here and other places the INT. scores were from a unofficial
list floating around on the internet.
I know there were a few that shot the WCC and the INT. not sure if any shot the ECC and the INT.
or if anybody did the grand slam and shot all 3.
after full anal-- lizing this I have found out I spend way to much time on the Internet :-B

I agree, you obviously do spend too much time on the internet. But I guess I do also. Thanks for the effort to compile the list.

Well, Craig, obviously you don't! & I really do not see the value of your obviously sarcastic statement. ~x( :-q ~x( 8-x

Having been involved in numbers and analysis for many years, I found it interesting. Maybe like Ole95, I enjoy over anal---yzing things. #:-s :)) =))

Where did you collect the facts for the 2013 International's Richard?

I have not seen results listed anywhere to date.

Craig,

The solution is simple and you defined it. The smart ass remarks are the issue we have with you. Just stop putting your foot in your mouth (metaphorically).

And the are many here who have worked tirelessly for years to promote the sport, Mugs, Philip, Lynn and others as well as Allen.

Carry on a civil discussion and you will not get flamed.

Steve W.

PS: & don't forget Al Life. When Elgin died he drove to HQ, boxed up all the records, brought them back to Burlington, IA & single handed opened up a new HQ. If it weren't for Al, IHMSA would have died many moons ago. We all owe him a big thanks!

ole95 did you factor in the Ft Stockton wind and 800' long firing line to walk back and forth on ? The wing gave me 2 heavy pigs in BB that rocked then fell forward. I still got an 80 but had to start hitting them hi.

Are the ECC and WCC 80 round matches or 60 round?
