One of my rear grip XP's is chambered in 7IHMSA and I was considering rebarreling this one. It was built in the early 80's.....and it has a very long throat...way too long in my book. So...I've thought about having someone rebarrel the gun, but I want to stay with having it chambered in 7IHMSA. Most of the silhouette gunsmiths that I knew over the years have long retired or passed away, plus the fact that I'm concerned that finding a gunsmith that has a chamber reamer for 7IHMSA might be difficult. I had Rick Zimmerman build an Anschutz over the winter(shoots great!!)for me and I've heard the name Clarence Hammond.....are there others out there that the members could or would recommend? I will be contacting Rick and Clarence, but thought that there might be others I should be checking with also. Thanks for any help! You can also contact me at catsfarm@ymail.com
