I found this a few weeks ago here's the story
this was around 1980-81
I'm the shooter 50# lighter 30+ years younger, spotter was my wife's cuz
this was one of our "silhouette Matches " as we called them. We had a total 5 square plates one shooter on the line
1st. fired at 25 yrds. the target were reset and the shooter MOVED back to 50 yrds. fired 5 rounds ,targets reset
shooter moves back to 75 etc. 100yards for a total of 20 rounds.
the hold I think was a legal IHMSA hold back then but I don't think it would be today?
the gun was a Liberty model 357 blackhawk (I bought new and still have) shooting the Sierria 170 gr. silhouette bullet
I'm sure setting on top of a max load of 296 , 2400 or 4227 (thought you needed it back then )

got any interesting old photo's to share

Long hair was also considered ear protection back then. I was always follically challenged when younger now I don't have the follicles to worry about.
