I've been asked by a few shooters about visiting distilleries and other things during their visit. Because of the enormous popularity of the more well-known distilleries, I suggest planning in advance for anything that you wish to visit. There are not only distilleries, but museums of all types. They are located in Lexington, Louisville, Bardstown and Frankfort. All are easy day trips and have both distilleries and museums.

I know as of the writing of this it's about 10 months away. But it's a special one. So, plan early and make one day to take the wife and family on a day trip.
