This website and Facebook

Post by dhagerty40x »

First, I think I have everything updated on the website, But I am only human. If you find something missing or incorrect, Please let me know so I can fix it!

Now that Facebook has become more friendly to firearms related material, I have been thinking that maybe bringing Back the IHMSA Facebook Page. If I do bring it back, only 3 rules I would adhere by:
1. No personal attacks against another user. Keep it civil.
2. No firearms related Sales allowed at all as this is still required by Facebook.
3. Any Official IHMSA Material such as rule change requests, Should be kept to this website. Posting of approved rule changes or rules clarification will be allowed on Facebook.

Now let's hear from people and let me know what you think!

Thank you Dan for a thankless job! No one has a clue how many hours you spend keeping this line of communication open for our members.

The pictures that I posted of the match in Terre Haute were all taken by Rich Hawkins oldest daughter. She did lunch every day and took a gazillion photos.

She posted a lot of our match stuff to facebook through the Riley Conservation Club page.
Those of you with facebook should visit the Riley Club page to see info on the Championship.

I thought I heard her say that facebook now allows pictures of firearms and pictures of competitions being held. They do not allow any ads for firearms, or solicitations for firearms, or any such transactions to be conducted.

Riley conservation posts a lot to their facebook page. They hold the 2nd largest Steel Challenge match in the nation.

I say since facebook is acting more civilized toward organizations like ours that we reopen our facebook page. It seems like everybody is on facebook.

My 2 cents

Face Book should be fine for most things. However, not everyone has it. Me included.
