Posted a picture of this gun last year. Found the message from Vern last week. Blast From the past... Traded for this gun in 2001. Message is posted below with a picture of the gun and a formed case beside a 30-30 case. Ammo case I got with the gun is marked J. Dunne. Vern passed in 2018.

I had one in 270VJ. Very accurate!

Pete Ball done well with his,he won the International’s Unlimited Championship!
I can still remember his wife with a sign...Who the Hxxx is Pete Ball....
