Heat, humidity, mosquitoes, and mirage did not prevent us from conducting an enjoyable match today. We were happy to see the arrival of the father-daughter team of Kayla Bonner and David Heintz and a couple of other regulars. The highlight of today was provided by my brother Philip. He recently traded into a 14” Contender barrel in 22 LR with a match chamber. He scoped it and got a 25 yard zero yesterday and shot this new combination in UAS today for a score of 40X40 from the flop position. It seemed to be very accurate so he then tried it on the Fifth Scale critters and scored another 40X40. I think he has decided to keep that barrel. Scores are listed below. We also had a couple of NRA Cowboy Silhouette Rifle shooters but I don’t have their scores..
