Our April match was lightly attended with only three shooters. I was able to manage a Production 38X40 with my Contender 7TCU using cast bullets, missing a turkey and a ram. Carey Templet used his fast twist 22 Hornet Contender on the half scale targets and finished with a 24X40. He had one ram that was hit and failed to fall. He then tried that Hornet on the full size targets and I’m sure we can all imagine how that turned out. Bill Hyde used a 357 Mag Contender to post a Standing score of 25X40. I decided to try my 7BR XP with cast bullets on the half scale targets. I had no sight settings for this gun and used the entry to try to gain some insight. I did manage to hit 25 in the process. There will be no May match at Top Shot due to a personal scheduling conflict.
