Greg, Any aftermarket trigger for a Rem 700 will work. Canjar, Timney and others. Brownells has several listed for the 700. There is a Timney Tactical trigger shown with an adjustable trigger lever for $145.

HI.The Timney trigger that 260 Stiker speaks of is a good first trigger,I got one from Craig Eagle on a trade deal.( my ideal not Craigs)It states 1 1/2 to 6.0 oz.I think it closer to 2-3 oz, couldnt find a Jewell at that time.
But it not a Jewell or Shilen.Ive used Jewell for 15 years. Im sold on them.I wont lie to you will will take a little time to get use to.I set mine to the bare minium.
Ive had several over the years, and not one single issues,I cant say that on any of the others Ive tried.JMHO.
