Re: WTB: XP 100 Trigger W/Safety
Snowman, If you are using the XP for IHMSA, then a safety is not required since our actions are always open till we get on the line and given the command to load. If you are going to use the XP for hunting, then a safety isn't a bad idea. Most XPs that have been used for IHMSA have had the safetys removed and it does not affect the functioning of the gun. If going to IHMSA matches just observe standard safety practices, keep the action open and you will be OK. Didn't want you to think a safety was mandatory before you could compete in an IHMSA match. Good luck with your project and have fun at the matches.

Re: WTB: XP 100 Trigger W/Safety
What I have is a Herrett rear grip stock with a low profile rifle basix trigger. I haven't been able to get an answer from Rifle Basix about which safety works with this trigger. I've tried one from a 700 and that did not match up. I'm hoping that one from an XP trigger or maybe a 600 would work with it. I'm ok running it without the safety since I only plan on using it for IHMSA. The stock has a cutout for the safety so I'm really just going for looks but I suppose I could fill it in. Thanks for the help!

this is the safety assembly that Rifle Basix sells for the 700 Triggers.

The XP stock safety uses those same parts but a slightly different lever. if you want a safety, those are the ones you would use. I do not think the XR-100 (rear grip version of the XP) used a different safety.
