IHMSAKIWI checking in

Post by ihmsakiwi »

Hello from New Zealand. I will try to post a couple of pictures of some local ramges.
We have just spent a couple of hundred man-hours re-doing our Tokoroa range to pass certification. All visible steel had to be either removed or at the very least obscured so that no richochets were possible. Beauracy gone mad. Steel targets OK, but not any other steel visible.
Its mid-summer and the shooting is great.
I have a new F.A. single shot in .223 & 7BR due any day so will post a report soon as I can. Peter.

Hi peter it will be good to see the range again when you post the photos. Overhere in South Australia some rangers have put baffles above targets to stop richochets . Noel

Maybe it's too late for me...but how do you shoot Silhouette without seeing the steel? Do you mean that you had to hide the rails but the targets were fine?
