Looking for a 7 tcu sizer die

7tcu good choice. Chasing younger women bad choice. I have been shooting a 7tcu and have used both a neck and full length sizer dies. Most of my loading is neck sizing. Loads are starting loads. Brass lasts longer and animals go down. Have fun with the 7tcu.

fully agree I'm on my 7th 7 TCU my sizing die has always had " issues" so I'm just going to try a different one
I use a 7br die to neck only
Hardtosee has in fact got my back on this

ok, here is some tricks:

1. If you have a Barrel with an overcut chamber, and it has a tendency to have Case head separations during fireforming (as Mine did), the only way I stopped it was to make my brass from 222 Rem Mag cases. you will need to trim it though as it will be too long. But, I stopped getting head separations and that brass is now 20 years old and still good.

2. (I learned this trick from Jim Henry) Take your full length sizer and turn it Back 1/2-3/4 of a turn. when you do this it will only slightly size the body and will not touch the Neck. extends brass life a lot!

3. remember to seat your bullets so that the base of the bullet is even with the bottom of the neck. for some reason, the 7TCU shoots the best like this.

Dan's tips are spot on especially about using 222 Rem Mag brass. If you can't find that, get some 204 Ruger brass. Just takes an extra step to neck up from 20 caliber but works great too. If you have lots of military brass another idea is to neck it up to 30 caliber then slowly adjust your 7TCU sizing die down in small increments until a sized case will chamber with just slight resistance. Lock the ring on the sizing die and then use a .020 spacer under the ring for future resizing and you will get long life out of your brass. Just nudges the body without setting the shoulder back. Lots of ways to skin a cat and make brass last longer. I have never found any .223/military brass that needed trimming when used for 7TCU. I trimmed some to make equal length but they were never longer than max length specs.

But I don't have a problem making brass
i don't have problem with my brass after I make it
I've probably 5 or 600 round of brass that I or others have made
And normal all I do now is neck size with a 7 br sizer
The only problem I have is a sizer die that was damaged by the former owner
And I thought I was get a replacement just in case I ever needed LOL
And Hardtoseeovergut felt sorry for me and donated one to the cause
I still think these tips should be pinned somewere could be very useful
